We have two fantastic presentations
from two equally fantastic individuals: Melis Senova and Zafer Bilda.
Melis Senova recently visited Manhattan (lucky
thing!) where she met with Frog Design, IDEO, Method and Parsons New School. The interaction
with these agencies was very inspiring and great knowledge was shared. Melis
will take us through what we can learn from these amazing trailblazers. Then Melis
will lead a group discussion about Service Design in Australia. Melis is curious about how our thinking has maturing around
Service Design in comparison with agencies that have been active in
user-centred work for the last 4 decades. Melis will propose an initiative
where we all collaboratively design the Service Design industry in Australia. How would we consciously design this new industry? Melis
is Director at Huddle in Melbourne.
Zafer Bilda will present "Designing and Testing Service
Experiences". It's challenging to design service experiences let
alone measure differences in the utility and experiential value of service
experiences. In this presentation, Zafer will cover how to understand an experience
holistically and when to break it down to bits, how to set criteria and measure
service experiences, and how to plan and test service experiences. Zafer is
Experience Architecture Lead at Bienalto in Sydney.
